What is a Facebook Pixel?

Facebook Pixel is a tool that helps entrepreneurs figure out the effectiveness of their Facebook ads by tracking the actions that users take on your site.

How do I create a Pixel on Facebook? 

• If you do not have a Facebook business account, set one up here. 
• Go to Pixel tab within Events Manager 
• Pick “Create Pixel”
• Create your Pixel name.
• Then enter in your website URL and press continue.
• Go to the menu section and navigate to All tools > Events Manager > Pixels Select Set-up. 
• Then navigate to where it says, Manually Install Code Yourself, and then copy the code. 

 

How to set up Facebook Pixel on ShowIt?

• Sign in to your Showit app, and go to the page you want to add your pixel. If a canvas is selected it will only show canvas settings and not the page settings. To avoid this, click on the page name.

On the right hand side of Showit, you will see a section called, Advanced Settings. Click on the box and a pop up will come up and then paste in the code. Then press Save.

 

In order for this to go live and start tracking data you need to press the blue Publish button up on the top right hand corner.
